Terms & conditions

1) Promoter

The promoter is abberior instruments GmbH, Hans-Adolf-Krebs-Weg 6, 37077 Göttingen, Germany (“abberior”).

2) Promotion

This promotion is a free prize draw for a Limited Edition building-bricks model inspired by abberior’s MIRAVA POLYSCOPE (“Prize”).

3) Eligibility

  • Open to individuals aged 18 years or older at the time of entry.
  • Worldwide entries accepted, subject to the restrictions in section 9 (Shipping/Import).
  • Employees of abberior and their immediate family members, and anyone professionally connected with this promotion, are not eligible to enter.

4) How to enter

  • To enter, subscribe to abberior’s newsletter via the sign-up form during the Entry Period (section 5).
  • One entry per person per calendar quarter.
  • No purchase is necessary.
  • Internet access and a valid email address are required.
  • If abberior uses double opt-in, your entry is only valid once you confirm your subscription via the confirmation email.

5) Entry Periods

  • The prize draw runs in calendar quarters:
    • Q1: 1 Jan – 31 Mar
    • Q2: 1 Apr – 30 Jun
    • Q3: 1 Jul – 30 Sep
    • Q4: 1 Oct – 31 Dec
  • Times are based on Central European Time / Central European Summer Time (CET/CEST).

6) Winner selection

  • One (1) winner per calendar quarter will be selected in a random draw from all eligible new subscribers received during that quarter.
  • The draw will take place within 14 days after the end of the relevant quarter.

7) Winner notification and claim

  • The winner will be contacted using the email address provided at newsletter sign-up.
  • The winner must respond within 14 days of notification to claim the Prize and provide any required shipping details.
  • If the winner does not respond within this period (or is found ineligible), abberior reserves the right to award the Prize to an alternate winner selected by the same method.

8) Prize

  • The Prize is one (1) Limited Edition building-bricks model (approximate description as shown in promotional materials).
  • The Prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.
  • abberior may substitute the Prize with an item of equal or greater value if the Prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond abberior’s control.

9) Shipping, taxes, and import

  • abberior will ship the Prize to the winner’s provided address worldwide, where shipping services are available.
  • Any customs duties, import taxes, VAT, handling fees, or local charges are the responsibility of the winner, unless required by applicable law.
  • abberior may be unable to ship to certain locations due to legal, carrier, or logistical restrictions; in such cases Abberior may request an alternative address or, if not possible, select an alternate winner.

10) Personal data and newsletter

  • abberior processes personal data (e.g., email address and, for winners, shipping details) for the purposes of administering the prize draw and delivering the Prize.
  • Newsletter subscription is governed by abberior’s Privacy Notice.
  • You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. Unsubscribing after a valid entry has been recorded does not affect that entry for the relevant quarter; however, abberior must be able to contact the winner by email to award the Prize.

11) General

  • abberior may disqualify entries that are incomplete, illegible, fraudulent, generated by automated means, or otherwise not in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.
  • abberior reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where necessary due to circumstances beyond Abberior’s reasonable control, subject to applicable law.
  • abberior’s decision regarding any aspect of the promotion is final to the extent permitted by law.

12) Governing law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Germany, and the courts of Göttingen, Germany shall have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protection laws that may apply in the winner’s country of residence.
